Gan Jin Choon

Before I came to know the Lord, I was a workaholic. Even though, I get a new business deal, I still do not feel any joy in my heart.

I started to question myself, “Where do we came from?” I was even afraid to look at myself in the mirror and had thoughts of suicide. That was when my business and work went downhill.

One of my colleague, Eloise, started to share the gospel and Jesus to me. She was very encouraging and even invited me to come to the church. I thought why not give this opportunity to know this God a chance? Another thought also came to mind. If I managed to secure the next deal, I would buy myself a Bible and go to church. I did manage to secure the deal and so that was what I did.

PCC has a very friendly and pleasant environment. The brothers and sisters here show care for me. I was introduced to a carecell and that was where I learnt to become a true follower of Christ.

Since then, I would seek God’s advice before making a decision, instead of following my own ideas. I have much joy everyday and I have strength to overcome every circumstances.

I would like to thank my colleague, Eloise for bringing me to church. I would still be living in despair if she didn’t guide me and bring me to church. With her guidance, now I’m walking in the path of Christ. And I would like to also thank my brothers and sisters in Christ.

And last but not least, thank you, Jesus.

I came to know Jesus in 1991 and over the years, my family and I have grown together with the people here in PCC. I have been serving in the Ushering Ministry in PCC for many years. I remember the time a time when a man came to tell me that it was because I greeted him when he visited this church, that he’s now a Christian attending this church.
